Discord bot hosting and automation on a Ryzen Windows VPS

Host Discord and Telegram bots, Python and Node.js scripts, workflow automation and browser automation on your own Windows server that never sleeps. You get full Administrator access, so you install the runtimes you need and run your bots as services that restart on their own.

  • Python, Node.js, .NET and more
  • Runs 24/7 as Windows services
  • Full Administrator access

What you can host

Chat bots

Discord and Telegram bots in Python (discord.py, aiogram), Node.js (discord.js, Telegraf) or C#.

Scripts and schedulers

Python and PowerShell scripts, cron-style jobs with Task Scheduler, data pipelines.

Workflow and browser automation

n8n workflows and Selenium or Puppeteer jobs that run within the rules of the sites they visit.

Why a VPS instead of free bot hosting

Free bot hosts tend to put bots to sleep, cap memory, restart them without warning or share a container with other users. A VPS is a whole Windows Server that is yours: it runs all day, you choose the runtime versions, logs stay on your disk, and one server can run every bot and script you own. When a bot grows, you move up a tier instead of rewriting it for a new host.

Recommended plans for bots and automation

Shown in Dallas. T1 runs one or two small bots; T2 runs several bots plus a database; T3 suits browser automation, which needs more memory per browser.

Run bots 24/7 on Windows: services and auto-restart

Terminal showing a Python bot installed as a Windows service with NSSM

A bot started in a Remote Desktop window keeps running when you disconnect, but not after a reboot. Make it a service or a startup task:

  1. NSSM (the Non-Sucking Service Manager) wraps any program as a Windows service: nssm install MyBot "C:\Python312\python.exe" "C:\bots\bot.py", then nssm start MyBot. Set the restart action so the service comes back if the bot crashes.
  2. Task Scheduler can start a script "At startup", whether or not anyone is signed in.
  3. Node.js process managers such as pm2 keep Node bots alive and collect their logs.

Keep tokens and API keys in environment variables or a protected file, never in the script you share.

AI agents and workflow automation (n8n)

n8n, a workflow automation tool, can be installed with Node.js and npm on Windows Server and run as a service in the same way as a bot. Workflows that call AI APIs, poll services or move data between apps then run around the clock. Give it a tier with enough memory for the number of workflows you run, and keep its web editor behind a firewall rule or a VPN rather than open to the internet.

Browser automation with Selenium and Puppeteer

Selenium and Puppeteer drive real Chrome, Edge or Firefox browsers. Each browser instance needs several hundred megabytes of memory, so size for the number of browsers you run in parallel. Automation must follow the target site's terms of service and robots rules: we do not allow account farming, ticket or sneaker bots that bypass purchase limits, credential stuffing, or anything that hides abuse from the site being automated.

What is not allowed

No spam or bulk messaging, no fake accounts or engagement, no scraping that breaks a site's terms, no attacks, no evading another platform's bans or limits. See the acceptable use policy.

Bot hosting FAQ

Can I run Discord or Telegram bots 24/7?

Yes. Run them as Windows services (for example with NSSM) or startup tasks, and they keep running through disconnects and reboots.

How much RAM does a bot need?

A typical Discord or Telegram bot uses tens to a few hundred megabytes; Windows Server itself needs about 2 GB. T1 (2 vCPU, 2 GB DDR5 RAM and 40 GB Gen4 NVMe SSD) runs a couple of small bots; T2 gives room for several bots and a database.

Can I run Python and Node.js on a Windows VPS?

Yes. Install the official Windows builds of Python and Node.js; you have Administrator rights, so any runtime, package manager or database that runs on Windows Server works.

Can I run n8n on a Windows VPS?

Yes. Install Node.js, then n8n with npm, and run it as a service. Keep its editor port closed to the public internet.

Do you allow web scraping and browser automation?

Yes, when it is legal and follows the target site's terms and robots rules. Abusive automation (fake accounts, bypassing limits, credential stuffing) is not allowed.

What automation is not allowed?

Spam, bulk messaging, fake accounts or engagement, attacks, credential stuffing and anything designed to evade another service's rules. See the acceptable use policy.
